The Ladder Roller and Clamp System provides near effortless loading, unloading, and fastening of a single ladder. The ladder rolls forward into front hold-down and is clamped in rear with one motion. Typical ladder lengths are 24' and 28'. The best thing about this system is that there is no easier or faster way to put a ladder on a truck and secure it there. The only downside is that you have to dedicate almost one half of your crossmember space to this system. On some racks a Mid-Crossmember installed over the truck roof is necessary to correctly position the front hold-down. The front hold-down is made from 1/4" x 2" aluminum and vinyl coated. The 4 rollers are made from 1/4" x 2" aluminum and vinyl coated and have 1 1/2" UHMW (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene) rollers. The clamp is made stainless steel with a stainless steel spring and has vinyl coated ends. All fasteners are stainless steel. Call for info on your particular application.
